Europe's energy transition is among the greatest challenges of our time. Its goal: To make Europe the first climate-neutral continent by 2050 at the latest. The Netherlands and Germany have therefore set themselves ambitious goals to expand offshore wind energy: as early as 2030, Germany and the Netherlands want to reach a capacity of 30 and 22.2 Gigawatts, respectively. Energy from offshore wind farms in the European powerhouse North Sea will play in this a crucial role. TenneT guarantees that this energy will reach the mainland
- and in the most environmentally friendly way possible. That is why we have developed the 2GW program with a unique transnational approach. And thus increase the pace and efficiency of the energy transition.

Unit
BTO (Business Technology Organization)
BTO will drive security of supply, energy transition, organizational and financial health through digital, data and analytics. BTO will secure solid foundations through seamless end-user services (UX), industry-leading cybersecurity setup and resilient data centers and cloud infrastructure. BTO will have consistent business/BTO alignment, strategic partnerships with vendors and clear standards on architecture, vendor & portfolio management and security. BTO will unlock value of data and digital by building all the necessary enablers (incl. data platform, data governance processes, capabilities) and embedding innovation initiatives into business roadmaps.

Office
BTO Office is a dynamic and collaborative hub within TenneT's Business Technology Organization (BTO). Our diverse department is composed of these teams:
• Strategy & Transformation: providing vision, direction, and insight to shape the future of TenneT's technology landscape and ensuring efficient project execution, resource allocation, and alignment with strategic priorities.
• Enterprise Architecture: establishing a solid foundation for the organization's systems and processes, promoting scalability, interoperability, and alignment with business objectives.
• Quality & Performance Management: focusing on continuous improvement, promoting best practices, and monitoring the effectiveness of our operations.
• Security Risk & Compliance: safeguarding TenneT's information assets, mitigates risks, and ensures compliance with relevant regulations.

Our experts facilitate and empower the BTO organization to excel in planning, building, and maintaining TenneT's information processing capabilities. Our collective efforts focus on fostering strategic thinking, driving innovation, ensuring quality performance, maintaining security, and complying with regulations. We set strategic direction for technology and data, drive change and assure quality of services across end-to-end processes.

Role
• Guide our teams in adopting Agile values and principles;
• Act as a Scrum Master for our teams using the Scrum framework and Jira;
• Be a change leader in solving challenges and obstacles in our way of working resulting in high-performing teams. Measure and drive improvements in our maturity, performance and productivity;
• Foster a community of autonomous Change Agents by launching and sustaining Guilds and Center of Excellence teams.

Profile
• At least 8 years of experience in various Agile roles of which at least 4 years of experience as Scrum Master;
• Proven track record of implementing the Agile way of working and mindset in multiple large organizations and in guiding multiple teams to high-performance levels;
• Ability to tailor Agile and Lean practices to unique organizational contexts in a practical way;
• In-depth knowledge of a range of methodologies and frameworks, such as Scrum and Kanban;
• Proficient in taking various stances, such as coaching, facilitating, mentoring and teaching with proven expertise in at least one of these domains: technical, business or transformation;
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree is preferred;
• Agile certifications are strongly preferred;
• Extensive experience with tools such as Jira and Mural;
• Energetic personality that can motivate people for change;
• Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders at all levels;
• Excellent communication skills, both verbally and orally in Dutch and English.

Good to know
• Candidate is going to work in the Strategy & Transformation team within BTO. The team consists of 6 program managers and 4 strategy advisors (focus on innovation with transformation component. Results-oriented and friendly team;
• TenneT is moving to Prince work and Jira, focus is on to try to plan everything Agile: execution of strategy + transformation in the programs. That is also the reason for this external hire position: to guide the teams and improve the quality. Purpose is to get the change for the BTO Office through.
• Candidate needs to know how to set up Jira and arrange planning events for the office. TenneT is looking for a hands-on candidate, whereby part of the job is also operational;
• We expect a large number of candidates to be offered. That's why we will have the focus on candidates with experience within companies with 5000
- 10.000 employees and with an IT department >500 employees;
• Candidate needs to have demonstrable experience in guiding teams in Agile working (from scratch, really start from the beginning (there are teams who don't know what it is like to work in scrum teams). The candidate must have performed this several times, not only once.

Condition
• At entry, TenneT performs a Pre-Employment Screening;
• Scale 8 (collective labour agreement TenneT TSO);
• Duty station for this position is Arnhem (1 or 2 days a week), other days hybrid. If needed, a candidate has to be flexible to work at the Arnhem office fulltime if required;
• Candidate has to be available at least 32 hours per week.

Additional information
• Suppliers must be aware of the laws and regulations regarding employment conditions and TenneT’s Collective Labour Agreement. This assignment is placed in scale 8;

Screening
• Pre-employment screening: If the candidate is selected to start, a pre-employment screening will be executed.
